  • Awesome job

As a previous haunted attraction owner, I have a different way of assessing how the owners and actors did and general feel of this attraction. First of all: What an amazing feat you pulled off to be able to build this attraction in the very limited timeframe you had. Bravo! You get top marks from me for being able to open on time when last year the entire space was basically a forested lot. Next: the general feel of the attraction. You entered into the site thru a gate with an eerie feel and plenty of eye candy to look at. The casket ride, food stand black maze, hillbilly shack and decrepid house facad with fog and roaming interacting characters did a great job of setting the mood for this attraction. The Haunted House: the house consisted of a Hag that sets the story line and about 10 rooms. Detail in the rooms was very good. Actors did a good job of being on time with scares and used appropriate verbage to keep the storyline going. The last room you are invited to sit and have a meal with the lady of the house and you can stay as long as her husband doesn't come home, of course he shows up with a twist: his chainsaw has the longest blade I've seen used in an attraction before. He chases you out of the house. Next is the rednecks cabin and its backyard. The redneck seems friendly enough until his shotgun goes off. Make sure you get your photo at the end of the attractions. The backyard has multiple interactive skits. Actors seemed to have developed good dialog appropriate for their situations. Next you enter the maze, made out of pallets you would think it would be easy to find your way out, this was not the case. Sure you can see a good distance in this maze, but that helps little as they discussed the route of egress well. The actors in here are acting as gatekeepers and will keep you from finding the exit. I spent about 20 minutes looking for it before I eventually found how to depart. Good job on this maze. Final words: the location is great. There is room for improvement, of course when it is a first year running attraction. The owner/operators Buster and Tiffany will not disappoint. This will grow into a great attraction that will have a great following. Keep up the good work looking forward to many years of quality scares from this location. Spooky Reviews.

  • Dark View

Goucher was great, and will always be my home. Dark view is a great place to spend you time and possibly make a few friends. The food was excellent, and the haunt was very welcoming, and full caring people, but still terrifing. I would go through every night 20 times if I could. Thank you too all the volenteers, and workers there. This has become a 5 star attraction in my opinion, I could stay there forever, it's like a home to me. c:

  • Good for the kids, not adults.

I was very disappointed. Felt like I was at kiddy land haunt. With what I heard I thought it was going to be an an intense haunted house... WRONG!!! Great for a beginners haunt, and for the younger crowd(5-10). Best part about it was the food, and guys outside. Glad I went on the discount night.

  • Great family haunt

Great haunt! You can tell that a lot of hard work, passion and dedication has gone into this haunt. Great make- up, actors, and dialog. Loved the monster protectors! Really made it extra special for my kids so that they could go through. The actors really know how to cater to families. Never have been to the daytime activites but would love to try it out next year!

  • Dark View Toronto Ohio

Really loved this place. 3 attractions for one price. Plus a few extra smaller attractions. Free parking and good food. So glad we stopped there this year. Can't wait to see what they do next year.
