What's new at Blood Prison for 2025? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

A lot of upgrades and new rooms for 2025! Including going into cells in the West Cellblock!

What are you most excited about for the 2025 Halloween Season?

More outside entertainment including midway escape games!

What differentiates Blood Prison from other local haunts in Ohio?

Blood Prison takes place at The Ohio State Reformatory which is the filming location of many movies including The Shawshank Redemption! This giant gothic structure is the best venue not only in Ohio but all over the United States! You go through both East and West Cellblocks and through Solitary confinement! Blood Prison holds 5 attractions under one roof! The Wardens Widow has all of her guards and inmates ready for all visitors in 2025!

How long has Blood Prison been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Blood Prison's history?

Blood Prison open in 2016 and has grown every year! We keep adding more and more every year and in 2018 The Wardens Widow rose from the dead and took control of all Guards and Inmates! She is still here to this day and screaming at all who enter!

What's your favorite experience since opening Blood Prison?

Building all of the amazing sets and watching people scream!

How long is a typical haunt experience at Blood Prison from start to finish?

Depending on how fast you walk and how busy we are but start to finish varies from 35 to 45 minutes.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Blood Prison is? Why?

Im going say were a 10! I know some people scare easier that others so is question is subjective. I say for the building and The Wardens Widow!

Does Blood Prison's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

Yes. This place is haunted and it very well known for its paranormal experiences. I have had light switches turn off in Solitary Confinement.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

The love of Halloween and horror! Also visiting many amazing Haunted attractions and working in the entertainment industry I just got the bug!

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Blood Prison?

Technology is constantly changing and with that so are we! Animatronics definitely enhance what we do! As well as adding another layer to the fantasy we create!

Can Blood Prison accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Blood Prison together as a group?

The largest group we send into the attraction would be a group of 20. Any bigger then we would split it up.

All tickets for opening weekend are 30% off!
