Panic in the Pines 2023

Panic in the Pines is a yearly Halloween haunt at Country Lane Tree Farm. There are 3 haunts which are all included in the price of your admission ticket.

First board a wagon on the longest running, most interactive Haunted Hayride in NW Ohio. This hayride takes you deep into the dark backwoods of a 160 year old family farm. Looming Pines now grow where generations of the family tended crops. Winds tear through the pines carrying the screams of the souls departed, will you make it out of the ride? Or will the winds claim your soul too?

Next you enter the Walk Trail of Curiosities:
They say curiosity killed the cat… what does it do to people? Are you brave enough to find out?

Finally, enter the woods where clowns are learning and practicing evil new tricks to make your nightmares reality.

This is a scary haunted event, not for the faint of heart! Parental discretion is advised for children. No refunds will be issued.

Please note as all three haunts are outdoor events on a REAL farm...dress appropriately for weather and uneven ground. Check our Facebook page for real time weather updates.

Tickets may also be purchased starting at 7:30 pm at the farm admission booth. All tickets are to be purchased for the night by 10:00 pm. YOU MUST BE ONSITE AT THE FARM IN LINE FOR HAUNT BY 10:00 pm.

  • The scary doctor virtually freaked us out

As the name suggests, it was absolute panic once you set out on the hayride into the pines. Those creepy looking zombie actors came from nowhere and scared the crap out of me. I was with my friends, and soon everything descended into mass screaming. Looking back, it was lots of fun as well. The scary doctor and staff virtually freaked us out. The makeup/costumes were realistic. The disguises in the haunted trail were innovative. Ticket prices were OK. Check it out.

  • Email Verified Hayride was scary and fun

I and family had a great time. It had some good scares, props, crazy settings and gory actors. The creepy costumes and makeup itself will freak you out. The kids screamed in the woods. The hayride was scary, but fun. The zombies take you by surprise. The staff was friendly. Ticket rates were not on the cheaper side though. Will be back again next year.

  • Pretty fun and scary

The Pines was pretty fun and scary. We decided to check this place with our kids. They had a good time. It was a nice evening and taking a walk in the woods was relaxing still scary. Went through horrible looking props and past horrifying scenes that stayed in our minds. The kids enjoyed the hayride the most. It was a bumpy ride with scary and hilarious props popping out and we were counting. Trail was frightening and the actors were good at what they were doing. It was fun and very well planned. Will be back next season.

  • Great unexpected scares

Went with my extended family. The youngest in our group was a 5 year old and the oldest was 76. They all enjoyed the haunt. It had great unexpected scares that will startle you off your feet. The hayride that takes you into the pines was scary awesome. The zombies had given us a hard time. The little ones screamed all through the hayride. The haunted trail was equally scary. It had the best disguised scares that I’d ever experienced. The haunted woods had some of the creepiest characters that will send a chill through your spines. Overall, the haunt had lots of scares and we had great fun. Ticket rates were OK. I will come again next year.

  • Superb and 5 stars

Had a pleasant time at the pines. We were a group of 10 with no kids. This place is for the horror maniacs. Three attractions in one place and budget were quite catchy. Never had any big expectations from this place but it was fun. The hayride was well executed and the walk in the woods was thrilling. The scenes were out of horror movie and we could feel the adrenaline rush. It was spontaneous and had us jump here and there. Appropriate location to plan a haunt and it was enjoyable. Superb and 5 stars.

  • Had a scary good time!

Halloween had always been a special season and I have enjoyed going to various haunt houses in the city. I have also organized a haunt house in my backyard. Panic in the pines was new for me and decided it to check it out. The best part was the haunted trial. We had a scary good time there with the actors. They were quite professionals and knew exactly how to scare people. The costume and makeup were great and added to the fear factor. Set in a farm house we had fun going around the farm and trying out all three attractions. Great job.

  • Email Verified Haunted woods gave me the scares of my life

I and my BF visited the Pines..the hayride was quite scary. Once you’re into the pine forest, you are helpless. The zombies in grotesque makeup will come after you from any side. I screamed few times to be honest. Haunted woods gave me the scares of my life. The psych doctor and the creepy staff scared the daylight out of both of us. I’d never seen my BF getting scared like that. The haunted trail had misleading games. It is not something that you expect. I recommend this place.
