The Linck Inn
Maumee, OH 43537
This building dates back to 1836 and has operated as a general store and a hotel. The hotel is no longer in business but it is believed to have as many as three ghost that linger there. The first is that of a woman prostitute who allegedly hanged herself in one of the rooms upstairs when the hotel was a bordello. Both employees and visitors have reported seeing a woman hanging by a noose from a rafter, but when they go to get her help, she disappears. Levi is the second ghost that was nicknamed after staff in honor of the original owner. This male spirit seems to enjoy alcohol and people have to keep an eye on their drinks because he is known to drink the entire cup in one gulp. Lilac Lady is the third ghost that resides here and she has been seen drifting through a hallway upstairs. Guests and employees say she leaves behind a floral smell.
