Harrison House Bed and Breakfast - Real Haunted Place
- 313 W 5th Avenue
- Columbus, OH
The house here was originally built in 1890, and when it became a bed-and-breakfast inn in the 1990's, the owners found that they were not alone! Spirits are said to haunt the second and third floors, and can also be found near the front door and first-floor closet. Ghosts said to reside here are a 12- or 13-year old boy named Moby, a man called Cedric (who smokes cigarettes), a man named Jakob, and a female, Nancy. Other spirits are said to visit here as well. A first-floor wall is said to be a portal to the afterlife, since paintings won’t stay hung on that wall. Witnesses have seen indentations as if someone is lying on the beds, have experienced missing objects that turn up later in strange places, and have seen doors and windows that open and close by themselves and heard unexplained knocks on doors. It is reported that dogs become scared to death when taken to the third floor.

I got spooked!
I'm a skeptic no more! We came into visit my little brother and stayed in room 2 on the 2nd floor. My husband passed out bc we had a crazy adventure night with my little brother. Once he was asleep I found myself to be the only conscious person in the room and I lived a real life spooky night. I was able to hear random light bumps to the wall, a faint sound of someone singing or whispering, then it felt like somethin pulled the covers on the bed. I had all the lights on in the room and the tv blaring. Exhausted... And looking at the room, I tried to tell myself I was fine and poof, all the electricity in the room blew(we had floor heater going and that was our fault. I had to get up and walk across this spooky dark room to get my phone. I turned on the flashlight and then the random noises continued. I couldn't take it anymore and I called my mom in the next room to wake up and get some coffee. Started day then and no more 1:1 time w me and "the room."Posted 10/25/15
