Fear Forest is top notch. There are four attractions on site, and offer something for everyone. There is a hayride only option, which takes you on a 1 mile covered wagon ride through the woods of Lordstown, which are loaded with animatronics and live actors amidst highly detailed scenes. Highlights include alien spaceships landing, a very detailed old, decrepit camper scene where the inhabitants are eager to cook their next main course, and an impending train collision near the end with you caught in the middle. The Insane atrium indoor haunted house offers a highly immersive experience as you traverse your way through diabolical medical experiments gone very wrong. The attention to detail is impeccable. The actors have no barriers between you and them, and are very eager to incorporate you into their world. The Psychopath is next. Here, you'll walk a dark and winding path through the woods where you'll find lingering lunatics who've seemingly escaped the institution and have set up shop on the grounds. Finally, you'll take a 10 minute track through the Forbidden Cornfield where you find yourself at the mercy of countless creeps lurking between the rows, eagerly anticipating a wrong step. As you exit, you'll find yourself back at the main building which offers a variety of merchandise to commemorate your visit. Fear Forest has ample parking, and for good reason. It's a must see during Halloween season, and is well lit and is under the watchful eye of Lordstown Police. Make sure you don't sleep on this top notch haunt.

We got the express passes, so the time flow of the attractions was optimal. The special effects were excellent and the actors were on mark. We had an absolute blast. The only reason we didn’t experience any startles or scares is solely related to the fact that our group was made up of healthcare professionals.
We would all do it again. I highly recommend it!

This haunt really goes above and beyond. The actors do a fantastic job with so much enthusiasm and they are very entertaining. The sets were very well thought out with great details. There are so many jump scares, as well as very creepy scary scenes. Definitely the best haunt around! The merchandise available is so nice also. Very good quality and designs with all sizes on hand. The merchandise is priced good and far more affordable than other haunts that I have visited. I highly recommend.

I was a little skeptical that it was as good as it had been hyped up to be, but I was instantly made a believer. They have done an amazing job creating an experience like no other in the area. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good scare this Halloween season.

Our group had 6 adults and 4 kids. The hayride had enough scares to go around. The monsters were engaging and they had the perfect amount of jumpscares. Worth ever penny.

Myself, GF and kids had a great time enjoying the whole package that Fear Forest House and Hayride provides. The haunted houses were awesome. Great scares and attention to details. The cornfield was muddy. But it had some decent jump scares and props. Psycho path was something I was seeing for the first time. It was cool concept I thought. My favourite was Insanaterium. One of my kids also said she liked Insanaterium the most for some reason. Actors were professional and they knew what they were doing. I would recommend this place.

I, wife and kids had a great time at Fear Forest. We took the fast pass to skip the lines and it turned out to be the best decision. Hayride was scary fun. There were few creepy characters that will come after you. My favourite was the haunted house. Psycho path that comes after the house provided a unique experience. Insanaterium was excellent. The corn maze was muddy and it had its own share of hidden scares. Actors all did a great job. Overall, it was worth the money spent.

Great place for an awesome spooky night out. We went there in a group of 5 and had a great time. In the houses, there were many scares, and the younger ones in our group screamed at the top of their lungs. Dark corners had many surprises. Psycho path was creepy while Insanaterium was a first time experience for most of us. Ticket prices were affordable. We drove about 1 hour to reach the haunt and it was worth the drive. Check this place out if you’re in Ohio.

The two haunted attractions in Fear Forest was outstanding. Attention to detail and bone-chilling scares make them an unforgettable experience. I am a bit tough or at least I thought so, and the actors proved me wrong. Insanaterium was maddening. It also had some creepiest looking characters. The hayride had few moderate scares. Cornfield was muddy. My shoes was ruined. Otherwise, it had some decent scares and props. The actors and staff were cool. Ticket price was reasonable. I will come again for sure next year.

Went not expecting anything great but had a really good time! The displays were amazing! Some of the scenes were boring, but the majority of it was full of surprises and scares. Definitely going to make this a part of our traditional Halloween fun! Also purchased the speed pass for the chance to use the "Hellevator" Ride had potential but went nowhere. Still think it was worth it for $35 to do Hayride, haunted house, psycho path, and small corn maze (no real scares in the corn maze).

It took much prodding from my GF for me to agree for the 2 hours’ drive to the haunt. But the haunt was worth the drive and time.. the technical side of each hall were perfect. My favourite was the Psycho Path Haunted Trail. I loved the walk through the vortex tunnel arranged in the haunted house. She jumped at few of the scares.. it was fun nevertheless. The ticket rates were economic too… Loved the experience.

Fear Forest Haunted House and Hayride is one of the best theme parks I ever visited. It has numerous zones and prominent actors. I have been there with one of my childhood friend and it was like memorizing our childhood horror fun. We were screaming at hayride and graveyards as actors and props were too good. Forbidden Cornfield was spread in huge area. We had ultimate fun here at this rocking haunted house.

I with my family visited the haunted house. It was our first experience in a haunt. The forbidden corn field was my kid’s favourite. They enjoyed the hayride too. The 10 minute walk in horror through the corn field was enjoyable. The actors with scary costumes and makeups scared the crap out of us. The haunted house was also filled with lots of scares... looking back, it was lots of fun as well…surely will be back next year.

All of us had a scary good time at Fear Forest. It was loaded with amazing actors, visual effects and spooky props. The drive through the Vortex Tunnel which is the largest was a unique experience that you all must try. The cornfield had just one way in and one way out and through the wind and twists of corn stalks, facing the evil, we had the hardest time finding our way out. It was fun and we love to be back.

Fear Forest Haunt is for the strongest of hearts who are ready to take in blood, guts and gore. Four haunted attractions, all equally intense, I found myself battling for breath. Our personal favorite was the trail. It was a psychopath haunted trail with the craziest people after you. The entire haunt is themed after a mental asylum. The haunted hayride was one mile long that covers a forest area of 68 acres. It was mind boggling and terrifying. Too many scares in there even for the most alert ones. We had a blast of time for just $25. I do highly recommend this and will be back again next year.

This year we decided to visit Fear Forest Haunt. The theme park was spread in huge arena and managed very well from parking to all spine-chilling attractions. This was really a dashing but fearful haunted house… My kids were screaming a lot by seeing clowns and creepy characters. There were dark and narrow pathways and a long hayride. Prices were a bit high though.

It was quite a crazy night at this place, we did not find the scares scary at all but funny is a clownish way. With actors donning the most dramatic costumes, it looked like they are all out from a horror flick and out to grab you. But, it looked highly comical and childish. Too much of blood and gore spoils the fetish for haunts. It was nauseating. Anyway, not coming back.

I with my family went to Fear Forest Haunted House and Hayride last week. All the four haunts were interesting and amazing. Insane-A-Tarium haunt had the most intense horror encountered. The house was loaded with a tons of blood, guts and gore… actors were awesome.. animatronics were impressive too. The Psycho path haunted trial was a terrifying experience encountered there. The hayride was also excellent… there is nothing much scary.. kids will enjoy this the most. Highly recommended one.

Nothing is as scary as it used to be. You KNOW nothing is going to touch you! So if you close your eyes - it's not as scary! lol However, it is a good value for the money. We wait all year long to go to Halloween fright sites. This is a good one that is well put together. Several options. I love the walk-through Vortex Tunnel in the haunted house. There is also a large one the hayride rides you through. Very unique and I love those parts!

The Fear Forest was a great night. You could tell that there was a lot of thought put into each attraction. Our favorite was the "Psychopath." The haunted house portion was great too and a little less scary but FUN the hayride was which was nice for folks that had kids. We would go again, it made for a great evening!

This is by far the best haunted house ive been too...From the hayride all the way to the forbidden cornfield. I give them a thumbs up. I am a fan of jason and michael myers and i absolutely loved how they made the scenes for them look like straight from the movies. So if your looking for a scare this is the place to go..so.worth it!
