The United States prison system is in disarray…The worst inmates all over the United States have escaped their respective institutions looking for a new place to call home. After numerous murder sprees and in some cases “Clown Sightings” across the nation these psychopaths have found the destination they were looking for in Mansfield Ohio….The Ohio State Reformatory! Once known for filming movies and music videos these crazed inmates have taken over and renamed it BLOOD PRISON! The authorities do not dare go after them as these extremely psychotic inmates have The Ohio State Reformatory locked down…..but every Halloween they open up the gates and dare anyone to try and make it through this once famous prison….Do you have what it takes to ESCAPE FROM BLOOD PRISON?!

What to Expect
The most deranged inmates have escaped from maximum security prisons across the nation and claimed The Ohio State Reformatory as their new hideout. What goes on inside, it’s hard to tell. After one too many unsolved murder cases and creepy clown sightings, the authorities have left these psychopaths to themselves. But every Halloween, gates open to this hideout from hell — BLOOD PRISON.

Enter if you dare. Know that unsuccessful jailbreaks will cost you far more than the admission price. Get in, and get out — if you can!

Monster Hunters coming from Cleveland: Merge onto I-90 W. Keep left to continue on I-71 S. Keep right at the fork to stay on I-71 S, follow signs for Columbus. Take exit 176 to merge onto US-30 W toward Mansfield. Take the OH-545 exit toward Wayne Street/Savannah. Continue on OH-545 N/S Olivesburg Rd to your destination in Mansfield. Turn left onto OH-545 N/S Olivesburg Rd (signs for Savannah). Turn left onto Reformatory Rd Monster Hunters coming from Columbus: Merge onto I-70 E/I-71 N. Use the left 2 lanes to take exit 101A for Interstate 71 N toward Airport/Cleveland. Continue onto I-71 N. Keep left to stay on I-71 N. Take exit 176 for US-30 W toward Mansfield. Turn left onto US-30 W. Take the OH-545 exit toward Wayne Street/Savannah

    I had gone during inkcarceration last year, so I wasn't expecting much when I went for the full blown house. And oh my god, I loved it. The house is about 45 minutes, the set design was cool, and the actors were great. I also couldn't recommend the touch pass more! I can't believe it was only 7 dollars! I don't wanna spoil too much, but the actors will definitely seek you out and have fun with you. Worth every penny!

  • The best

    Everything about this place was phenomenal. The building, sets, music, and actors, all showed so much imagination! Felt like I was starring in my own horror movie.

  • Blood prison

    Drove 3hrs with high hopes. This is a awesome place for this. Great props but not many actors. Most actors just set there. The dark spots where they could have scared you. No one was there. Very disappointed.

    Drove 2hrs., and got there at 6:30pm. People were already lined up. We got into the prison by 6:50 and out by 7:40. Best place ever, we absolutely Loved it. Worth the drive and worth the money. Highly recommend!

  • Best haunt I've been to...

    Blood prison is hands down the best haunt I've been to.. Something scary around every corner and never a dull moment.. the fact that the prison is actually haunted makes it even scarier.. we got the touch pass which I recommend.. definitely worth the 3 hour drive.. will return for sure

    I couldn't believe the professional sets, make up and costumes. The Widow could be heard screaming all over the prison. I loved that the actors didn't just jump out, but had little stories. I screamed so much my throat hurt and I really loved it!

  • So fun

    I have only been to one haunted house before this so I didn't really know what to expect. I also don't like scary movies. I went with my friends and it was so fun. I liked that it wasn't completely dark so you were able to see everything and all of the decor. It was scary but it wasn't to the point were I couldn't enjoy it. I highly recommend. Also, all the staff were so nice .

    I went just after it opened around 9 pm last year and my experience was truly amazing. The actors, costumeing, makeup, etc perfect 10/10 the staff outside the haunt was perfection

  • Email Verified Escape From Blood Prison 2021

    Blood Prison was amazing and unforgettable. Never experienced a haunt that was this scary from beginning to end. The Wardens Widow was my favorite, however every character was scary. The production design and artists behind this masterpiece were amazing. I can honesty say that I was scared to the bone. No doubt. Belive me that you will have a blast at Blood Prison. And take my advice kidz...do not end up at the end of the line like I did. Haha. Let's just say, you will find yourself followed and most likely jumped scared. I experienced this first hand. In the end, Blood Prison is totally worth the drive and wait. My personal experience made me feel like I was in Silent Hill. The atmosphere and vibe of Blood Prison will make you feel like you're in a horror movie.

    Loved it. Was a surprise anniversary present from my husband. Got the touch pass and it made it so much fun. The actors really messed with us in a fun way. I jumped and screamed several times and laughed a lot too. Great fun. Would recommend to anyone.
