On 10/29/19, I stayed at Candlewood Suites in North Olmstead. I specifically requested the 4th floor, if not the most haunted room, which I received. The staff was very excited to tell us the ghost stories and reported experiences. Throughout the evening and night, my friend and I experienced exactly what I wanted. In our room, drawers and cabinets opened, the bathroom light turn on, there were cold spots, some light touching, random "crinkling noises," and a baby cry. We could hear outside our room what sounded like kids running up and down the hallway about 12am. At checkout, while we were telling the staff our experiences, they received a call from a lady on the 4th floor on the opposite end of the hall as is that they heard crying children throughout the night. The thing is...there were no kinds staying on the 4th floor. In fact, they keep families with kids on the 1st and 2nd floors. The best thing is there was no feeling of malevolence. It was a good, clean haunting. TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT.

I don’t know why I’m rating it poor to great lol
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel, room 123. Nice hotel. He woke me at 2:30-40 ish in the morning after sleep paralysis. He said I’d been stirring in my sleep as he laid there and was able to moan and say help muffled. He won’t tell me what he could feel but could feel the presence of someone “ I don’t want to know what”. He said there was scratching to the side of the bed, this would be the right side if you’re laying down. He couldn’t lay there anymore so we switched sides and he was ok after that but could hear what sounded like clicking tongue sounds from behind the desk chair. He didn’t tell me about that until the next morning . I asked him to turn on the lamp and finally fell asleep. I don’t know if I was so creeped out but I felt like I could feel a presence too. Maybe. But when I did move to that side of the bed my ears keep muting out and ringing before I did fall asleep. And that rarely happens. Strange. I didn’t know any stories before staying here and don’t seek supernatural things.
Posted 10/28/19There may be some truth to this.
I never actually stayed there. I had family who did but didn't report anything. But I can tell you I did work across the street at the Wal-Mart in North Olmsted and I can verify the dead body of a woman was found in those woods when they cleared it to build the hotel. Creepy stuff and we all talked about it for a few weeks afterwards. One of the door greeters found an article on the incedent and it read that a gun had been found with the body so it was ruled a suicide. I always thought , years later when I heard about the hauntings, that maybe her death wasn't a suicide. Maybe she was murdered and she haunts the hotel now because she's angry that everyone thought she killed herself.
