Greater Columbus Antiques Mall
Columbus, OH 43206
"This antiques mall was once a funeral home, which is why it is believed to be haunted by a ton of spirits. A tall man dressed in a brown suit was the first to be seen in the building. He has been seen walking around, and in some cases through the antique displays. A lady in yellow gown has also been seen pacing the upper levels while crying. When she is approached, she suddenly disappears. Another spirit on the premises is that of a sinister floating spectre of a man dressed in a black cloack. His presence is allegedly so evil that an employee quit right after encountering his ghost.
The ghost of a grey cat has also been reported, peeking around the corners inside the building, but the origin of its haunting is not known. Some other eerie occurrences that have happened at the location include shadowy apparitions, heavy breathing, banging and knocking, disembodied footsteps and ghostly voices. The sounds of children playing and laughing have been heard on the second floor and several rooms upstairs are avoided by guests because of the evil entity that is said to roam there. He allegedly tries to choke or hurt the staff members and visitors.
Elderly women can be heard in the area where an old wooden cafe bench sits. The smell of Italian food in the area has also been reported, despite the fact that the location does not have food stalls. This may bebecause a restaurant once stood on the premises of the current building."

Occasionally an old man will appear the store and a ghostly cat. The old man is supposed named Albert and is of German descent (ask the owner.) the cat will randomly appear and then disappear. The old man is of a bulkier build and wears a big coat. He does not like people and large groups of people, when there are many people in the store and he is present he will grumble (I’ve seen him walk through a wall to avoid people) He is there very rarely and is very transparent.

My sister and I were standing approximately 7 feet away from a wall mounted glass case, that displayed various jewelry items. With no one standing there, one of the displays that was leaning against the back of the case, jumped out about 3 feet, and landed on the ground. That seemed to defy the laws of physics, in my opinion.

I have been to this antique mall numerous times and it's a very interesting place from basement to the attic filled with lots of items . On one visit , I smelled the overwhelming scent of dead flowers but there were no flowers dead or alive in that area . On another visit , I smelled strong cigar smoke as if someone right next to me was smoking , but there was no one there ! It's a very haunted place !

This is a charming place. One of the operators is lovely, older woman who even in modern clothing, looks Victorian. I found her to be the most interesting entity in the place - even though she is totally alive. I was in the basement and upstairs as well. When I went in the basement I could sense....that people just make this rubbish up...lol. No cold drafts, no one looking at me, no sinister spirits. Same with the upper floors...in the slanting light I saw...dust.
Lots of antiques, plenty of junk and lovely, living peope...but no Dead People.
