Historic Stoner House
Westerville, OH 43081
This building dates back to 1852 when it was built by George Stoner as an inn and tavern. It was also the location of a station on the Underground Railroad. Runways would hide in the basement in a "hidden" room until they could make their up to the handy house or the Sharp house. Several witnesses have reported seeing a shadowy figure that came in the back door on the second floor porch. A strange mist and light have been reported on a photo and voices have been heard and captured on a recorder. Bells have been heard ringing in the basement where the "hidden" room was and during a class, a student saw a full body apparition of a woman coming out of one of the rooms.
