Halloween Hayrides feature a narrated hayride along a trail filled with family-oriented thrills, chills, and adventures. Encounter upside down skeletons, falling spiders, and a lagoon with a mysterious creature! Many “fright” sites will leave you with goose bumps or giggles! After riding on the wagon, visitors continue their journey with a walk along a haunted trail. The ‘Evolution of Dance’ featuring the glow stick dancers is back again by popular demand! Dress for the weather – rides go rain, snow or shine!

Corn Maze
Do you have a good sense of direction? Here’s a chance to test your skill as you “walk the stalk” through a multitude of twists and turns through a three-acre corn maze at Lake Metroparks Farmpark. Trivia questions are posted throughout
the maze to help guide you along the way. Answer the questions correctly and you will proceed on the correct path.
Fall Harvest Weekends
Four weekends of fall harvest fun! Each weekend features an aspect of farming and harvest, and visitors enjoy family-friendly hands-on activities that are part of Farmpark’s harvest traditions. On all weekends, little farmers can pedal their way on mini tractors through a farm maze, navigate the hay maze and play in the kid’s areas. The whole family can explore the three-acre corn maze. On some weekends, visitors can help grind apples and press cider as well as taste apple cider, apple butter and harvest soup!

The hayride was a drive-thru in 2020 because of the virus. I had a blast! There are maybe 15 different areas with a different theme -- pirates, spiders, Beetlejuice, Frankenstein, et al. I found it to be more entertaining and amusing than scary. The very first station said "Children Crossing" and painted in were the words "of the corn." Hilarious. One of my favorites was the zombie station. They have people pull ropes to make things jump out at you. Yes, go.
