"This building was The Poor House for many years and in the 1800s up until the 1970s, it was the location where the abandoned and insane saw their last days. Men and women were both housed here but in different quarters.
Footsteps have been heard on the main floor at night and people have heard shuffling through empty hallways. Disembodied voices have also been reported and captured electronically, sharing names, sending messages and telling visitors to ""get out.""
Mrs. White is the ghost who can be seen on the dormitory floors. She appears frequently and her dour expression can be seen in a photograph in one of the hallways and when she is seen haunting as well. Echos with voices and orbs of light have been reported in the basement, where there are locking cells that were once used to hold the dangerous and insane inmates. "
